Our Inspiration
I. P. Attarde
A resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra, the late I. P. Attarde, always had a liking towards the English language. Due to some health issues, him and his family had to move to his hometown of Jalgaon, in the early 60’s.
Studying and Teaching English diligently over 51 years to S.S.C., H.S.C., Graduate and Post Graduate Students through his private classes, the late honorary lecturer possessed an extraordinarily rich English Personal Library for the English language learning. His library consisted of over 1,500 books. He, himself, had written 15 self-taught English Grammars and his books have been sold in the United States, U.K., France, Canada, Japan, Denmark, and India. His dedication and utmost sincerity towards spreading every ounce of knowledge he acquired for the English language is commendable. As selfless as he was, he never gave a thought about charging any amount of fees for classes. To put this into perspective, he single-handedly taught 30,000+ students for merely just pennies. His only motive in life towards his passion was to teach and reach as many people as he could to help make them well versed in English. He has delivered hundreds of lectures in schools and colleges on “How to obtain Mastery over the English language” and self-development topics, as well. He used to conduct free workshops to teach English in Mumbai University and at several other universities every year.
We have had the pleasure of knowing the late Shri. I. P. Attarde and witness the devotedness he had towards his work. He was the epitome of guide for bright youngsters. Him and his work had been acknowledged by many Colleges and Institutions in addition to being recognized by the following esteemed personalities, around the world:

His altruistic and noble social services will always serve as an inspiration to Attarde Foundation.
